Getting the most from your hi-fi

“ Plug and Play” hi fi in our book does not exist. Care and attention to detail will reward the listener even in a budget system. From careful listening to the product before installation to advice on  speaker cables ,interconnects and a suitable equipment stand ,all add value to your investment. But beware-the application of various snake oils and potions costing hundreds of pounds rarely improves the sound of a good hi fi and should be viewed with extreme scepticism.
